LongIslandSkyWatch May 5, 2012 Update

LongIslandSkyWatch will be giving a presentation on Thursday, May 24th at the Huntington Library at 7:00pm http://www.thehuntingtonlibrary.org/?p=9256

It will be an excellent venue to educate those people in your lives who cannot grasp the truth about geoengineering.

LISW attended the Water Worries conference and reached out to Adrienne Esposito.  She is Director of CCE that organized the event.  Please contact her and voice your concerns about geoengineering.  We will be setting up a meeting with her in the near future http://www.citizenscampaign.org/about.asp.  We also reached out to Richard Amper, Director of the Pine Barrens Association.  We plan on connecting with him soon too.  Please contact him and voice your concerns about geoengineering http://www.pinebarrens.org/staff.asp.  Again, we cannot stress the importance of taking rain samples to document the effects of geoengineering.  It also holds our public officials accountable.  We implore everyone to meet with their local officials.  We at LongIslandSkyWatch know only too well how frustrating and defeating it can be to speak to officials who cannot "see" the sky.  If we had a larger group making demands, they would have no choice but to "see" more clearly....

We have meeting scheduled in early June to meet with Legislator Anker. 

We will be scheduling another LISW meeting in June to strategize about future plans.  Again, if anyone would like us to accompany them to a legislator's office, we are available.  Please make the appointment for 3:00 pm or after...
